Safety Rules
Do not use this equipment without having read and understood this user manual in its entirety.
This manual includes critical information intended to ensure the safety of the user.
Physipro recommends that a clinician such as a doctor or therapist experienced
in seating and positioning be consulted to determine if a pelvic support belt is
appropriate.
This product should be installed and fitted by a qualified rehab technician.
Ensure that the pelvic support belt is worn tightly fitted at all times. A loose belt may
cause the user to slip down and create risk of strangulation.
Accidental release of the pelvic support belt can occur and cause the user to fall
forward. If the user's movements or cognitive abilities could lead to accidental release,
a healthcare professional should be present during the utilisation of these products.
The healthcare professional should regularly check for skin redness especially around
bony prominences. If the user's skin develops redness, discontinue the use of this
product immediately and see a doctor or therapist.
Ensure that the healthcare professional knows how to fasten and unfasten. Failure to
do so may delay release in an emergency.
This product is NOT intended for transit transportation or personal restraint device. The
pelvic support belt should only have positioning purpose in the wheelchair. Misuse of
this product is unauthorized and may occur in damage or injury.
