For emergency operation, the modes „Automatic mode" and „Retract all supports" are saved, and
they can be activated via the push buttons on the wall bracket.
CAUTION: In the event of the emergency operation, ensure that there are no people or animals near
or under the vehicle. If necessary, call on a second person for assistance.
In some cases, a warning tone may sound four times when pressing push buttons 3 & 4 for the first
time. The sensor calibration can be the reason for this. After a 5-second wait time, the functions for
„Automatic mode" and „Retract all supports" are available again as normal.
Automatic retraction via the emergency buttons is possible immediately. Heating only occurs during
extension.
The system only works if the ignition is switched off. If the ignition is switched on, a warning tone
sounds and a warning message appears on the TCU (see
"Error messages", page
94).
