Before you begin...
Intended use
This product is not intended for commercial use. Gener-
ally acknowledged accident prevention regulations and
enclosed safety instructions must be observed.
Only perform work described in these instructions for
use. Any other use is improper. The manufacturer will
not assume responsibility for damage resulting from
such use.
What are the meanings of the symbols used?
Danger notices and information are clearly marked
throughout these instructions for use. The following
symbols are used:
DANGER! Direct danger to life and risk of
injury! Directly dangerous situation that may
lead to death or severe injuries.
WARNING! Probable danger to life and risk
of injury! Generally dangerous situation that
may lead to death or severe injuries.
CAUTION! Possible risk of injury! Danger-
ous situation that may lead to injuries.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the device! Sit-
uation that may lead to property damage.
Note: Information to help you reach a better
understanding of the processes involved.
For your safety
General safety instructions
• To operate this device safely, the user must have
read and understood these instructions for use
before using the device for the first time.
• Observe all safety instructions! Failure to do so may
cause harm to you and others.
• Retain all instructions for use, and safety instruc-
tions for future reference.
• If you sell or pass the device on, you must also hand
over these operating instructions.
• The device must only be used when it functions
properly. If the product or part of the product is
defective, it must be taken out of operation and dis-
posed of correctly.
• Do not overload the device. Do not use the device
for purposes for which it is not intended.
• Exercise caution and only work when in good condi-
tion: If you are tired, ill, if you have ingested alcohol,
medication or illegal drugs, do not use the device, as
you are not in a condition to use it safely.
• Always comply with all applicable domestic and
international safety, health, and working regulations.
Device-specific safety instructions
• All parts of the product must be correctly assembled.
• Stability of the product is ensured only when it is set
up and positioned on a solid, level, and sufficiently
robust surface.
• Warning! Use only for one child aged 3–10 year
• Warning! For use under adult supervision!
Sandbox
• Warning! Only for domestic use!
• Warning! Only for outdoor use!
• Max. number of people allowed: 4
• Remove the packaging, as children may be
exposed to danger from the supplied film packaging
(risk of suffocation).
• The sandbox should be assembled without the pres-
ence of children, as supplied bolts etc. are parts that
can be swallowed and pose a risk to life.
• Instruct children on the proper use of the sandbox
and never allow them to play in it without supervi-
sion.
• From time to time, check the wooden parts of the
sandbox for worn out or broken areas and smooth
them out again using sandpaper.
• Install the sandbox on a flat surface at 2 m away
from other structures or obstacles such as fences,
garages, houses, overhanging branches, clothes-
lines, electrical wiring and the like.
• There should be a safety zone of 2 m around the
sandbox consisting of grass or soft sand to protect
playing children if they fall down.
• Under no circumstances should there be concrete,
stones or other hard surfaces in this safety zone.
• Remove all sharp objects, broken glass or stones
from the area surrounding the sandbox.
• Make sure that playing children are not in danger
within 2 m around the sandbox.
• MAX total loading weight: 100 kg
• Check all coverings for bolts and sharp edges and
replace when required.
Scope of delivery
Note: The actual appearance of your product
may differ from the illustrations.
Immediately after unpacking, check the scope of deliv-
ery for completeness and that the product and all of its
parts are in perfect condition. Do not assemble the
product if the scope of delivery is incomplete.
Fitting
CAUTION! Risk of cuts Every care has been
taken at the factory to ensure that there are no
sharp edges on this unit. Be careful when han-
dling the individual components of this unit to
prevent accidents and injuries when assem-
bling and starting up the unit.
NOTICE! Hazard resulting from damage to
the product! The product must be set up on a
level and sufficiently strong surface. If the sur-
face is insufficiently strong, the stability of the
product will be endangered.
– Please read these assembly instructions carefully
and follow them exactly.
– The sandbox may only be assembled and installed
by adults!
– It should be assembled with great care in order to
ensure that it is strong and stable.
– During assembly, make sure to first connect all parts
loosely and only tighten them at the very end.
– To assemble the sandbox, please look for a flat sur-
face that will allow the sandbox to be stable.
