OPERATION
Prior to operation
1. Insert the connection head of the suction hose into the hose connector (10) until it locks in place. To do so, press the buttons simultaneously. In order to
release the hose again, press the buttons once more on the connection head. Keep the buttons pressed down and then pull out the hose.
2. Connect the telescopic suction hose to the handle.
3. Attach one of the nozzle attachments to the front of the hose.
Using the device
1. Unwind the length of cable you require.
2. Insert the mains plug into a correct socket. Turn on the device with the on/off switch (1) by pushing it downwards.
3. Adjust the suction power by turning the suction power regulator (6).
4. Vacuum at a steady speed. There is no need to exert pressure.
Caution: Take into account the maximum length of the cable and the operating range of the device.
Vacuum power regulator
Low vacuum power: For curtains and delicate fabrics.
Medium vacuum power: For high pile carpets and unevenly textured flooring.
High vacuum power: For high density carpets and floors.
Telescopic suction tube
The telescopic suction hose allows the length to be adjusted according to the height of the operator.
1. Unlock the connection by rotating the wide part of the suction tube to the left.
2. Adjust the suction hose to the desired length. To secure the connection again, turn the wide part of the connection to the right.
Cable winding device
1. Unwind the cable up to the maximum length indicated with the yellow mark. Do not unwind the cable beyond the red indicator to avoid damage. Such cases
of damage are not covered by the warranty.
2. Press the button of the power cord winding mechanism (5) to wind the cord. Keep the cable straight so as to avoid jamming the mechanism.
Nozzle attachments (not included with all models)
Crevice nozzle / Brush nozzle: For vacuuming upholstery, curtains, crevices etc. Without its brush, the attachment can be used for vacuuming in crevices and
areas that are difficult to reach. If you wish to use the brush, turn the brush in the direction of the arrow and push until it locks into place.
Floor nozzle: To clean carpets or smooth surfaces. For smooth floors, press down the lever with the brush symbol on the floor nozzle. The brush is now visible.
For carpets, press down the opposite lever.
To remove the attachments from the hose, pull the attachments by rotating them slightly.
Air flow adjustment port
Move the port forward or backward, increasing or decreasing the size of the hole to adjust the airflow. The vent allows you to remove any objects that are
blocked inside the hose or suction orifice.
Dust bag indicator light (7)
When the dust bag needs to be replaced, the corresponding indicator light comes on. Replace the bag before starting the appliance.
Changing the dust bag
1. Disconnect the power plug from the power outlet.
2. Open the lid of the dust bag compartment using the handle (8).
3. Remove the bag by carefully pulling the fastening device backwards to make the bag more easily accessible. Remove the dust bag by lifting it upwards.
4. Insert a new bag. Please ensure that the bag is located correctly in the guide
Motor protection filter (inlet filter)
The filter is located in the dust bag compartment. The filter is located vertically in the rear section of the dust housing. Remove the filter by pulling upwards.
Clean the engine protection filter after each dust bag replacement. If necessary, the filter can also be washed in warm water, do not use any soap or detergents.
Place the filter back in the device only after it is completely dry.
Outlet filter
The appliance is also equipped with an outlet filter. This filter can be found on the side of your device, behind the ventilation grille.
Open the grille cover by rotating it. Then pull the grille out towards the user. Remove the filter and clean as described above. Reinstall the filter and grille
correctly.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Cleaning
Unplug the device from the power outlet before cleaning. Clean the external surfaces of the appliance with a dry and clean cloth.
Storage
1. Wait for the device to cool down before storing it.
2. Wind the cable completely.
3. Store the device in a horizontal or vertical position. Attach the suction hose to the special hook on the back of the appliance.
