2. Always check that the battery charger is properly connected to the battery in a way that they cannot be the cause
of short circuits; in case of improper connection, the battery charger will not work. DO NOT charge the battery in
proximity to inflammable objects; while connecting or disconnecting the battery we suggest you to set the
stand- by mode before using it, this way you will reduce the risk of sparks that can lead to fire.
3. It is possible that some explosive gases are brought in the air (like the hydrogen, which element breaks down in
the water during charging process). Therefore, be sure that there are not free flames or sparks in the area that may
get in contact with the area where the battery is being charged, this way you will reduce the risk of exposing the
area to the fires.
4. This battery charger is compatible with batteries of 12V, lead acid and LifeP04 batteries, we suggest you not to
charge the other type of batteries that are not mentioned in this manual, since they may cause explosions.
5. We recommend you to disconnect the battery from the battery charger only after having unplugged it from the
power, this way you will reduce the discharge of power.
6. If the battery is too warm or there is evidence of liquid leaking while charging, stop the charging process
immediately.
7. While charging an unsealed lead battery, it may be possible that some corrosive liquid leaks from the battery.
Therefore, we recommend you to keep safety distance from the battery during the charging process, this way you
will avoid the risk of injuries due to the acid leaking.
8. If the charging cable is damaged, have it replaced from a professional technical staff in order to avoid possible
damages.
9. First connect the red cable to the positive pole of the battery. Connect the black cable to the negative pole of the
battery. Then plug the battery charger to the power.
10. After having charged the battery, unplug the battery charger from the power. Remove the black cable from the
negative pole and the red cable to the positive pole of the battery.
WARNING! DO NOT TRY TO CHARGE A NON-RECHARGEABLE BATTERY.
