When the jack is not in use,
ensure the saddle is in its
lowest (down) position.
Every two months, check the ram and pump piston for rust or corrosion (or more frequently if used
a lot). Clean as necessary and wipe down with an oil cloth to prevent rust.
When storing,
keep the jack in
a dry location.
Ensure all
wheels touch the
ground and the jack
is placed on a level
surface.
