• Cleaning method of the air cleaner
1. Open the air cleaner cover.
2. Remove the primary element and check for deterioration.
Replace it if it is deteriorated.
3. Clean both the primary and secondary elements by
tapping lightly or blowing air from the inside.
4. When the primary element is soiled heavily, wash it
with kerosene and dry.
5. When the secondary element is soiled heavily, replace
it.
6. Replace the secondary and primary elements in the
case, and assemble the air cleaner cover.
• Cleaning and servicing methods of the spark
plug
1. Remove the Ignition plug cap.
2. Remove the Ignition plug using the plug wrench.
3. After cleaning the carbon accumulated on the electrodes
and the insulator, adjust the electrode clearance at 0.6 to
0.7 mm.
4. Assemble the Ignition plug first and then the Ignition
plug cap.
