7. Cleaning the appliance

WARNING!
Live components. There is a risk of electrical shock.
Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids!
WARNING!
Parts with sharp edges. There is a risk of injury. Avoid
touching the blade assembly.
To avoid injuries, use a washing-up brush or a similar suit-
able cleaning implement to clean the blade.
NOTICE!
Do not use any harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or objects to clean the
accessories and the housing because they could damage the surfaces.
Use a mild cleaning agent, e.g. washing-up liquid and a soft cloth.
 Pull the plug from the mains socket before cleaning the appliance.
 Clean the parts (blender jug, lid and lid cap) with warm water and washing-up
liquid.
 Rinse the blender jug out thoroughly with hot water and washing-up liquid.
 Leave the parts to dry thoroughly.
 Wipe the surface of the blender base with a slightly damp, soft cloth.
