3/ UNPACKING AND INSTALLATION
•
Open the carton, taking care not to damage the product by using sharp objects like scissors and
cutters.
•
Be sure to remove all packing materials before use.
•
Make sure that all elements of the fireplace are intact before using.
•
Make sure the burner is properly inserted in the fireplace.
•
Fill up with ÉTHALINE ® and not exceed 2/3 of the maximum capacity, or the maximum limit
indicated on the burner and to not overcome the maximum fiber level.
•
The ÉTHALINE ® that accidentally falls on hardwood floors, if not dried immediately, could leave dull
spots.
•
Remove the tank after refueling/refilling from the fireplace before turning it on/firing on using a flame.
•
Put on the fire in the burner using a long-lighter.
•
The flame may be weak at the beginning. Wait 15 minutes to leave time for the burner to reach the
optimum operating temperature and the flame will stabilize at its normal height.
•
If the fireplace does not light on immediately, repeat the ignition process.
4/ COMBUSTIBLE
For the proper functioning of the fireplace, we recommend the use of ÉTHALINE ®.
Warning! ÉTHALINE ® fuel can be difficult to switch when kept at very low temperatures.
Warning! ÉTHALINE ® can stain wooden floors.
The combustible should be stored in original container tightly closed.
Combustible should be stored away from direct sunlight and other sources of heat, flame or sparks. Anyway,
it must comply with all safety instructions in the technical details of the combustible.
ÉTHALINE ® GARDEN can be used only in external places.
Do not use ÉTHALINE ® ÉTHALINE ® Garden inside.
5/ FILLING THE TANK
NEVER REFILLTHE FIREPLACE WHILE IT IS IN OPERATION/BURNING
•
Allow the burner to cool completely before refueling /refilling (min. 60 minutes).
•
Perform the correct filling of the burner by avoiding the trace of ÉTHALINE ® outside the tank, making
sure the chimney is off and cooled. For filling safely, we recommend using a jug and funnel, inserting
the funnel inside the burner access compartment and pouring the ÉTHALINE ® of the jug, filling in
gradually to facilitate fibro ceramics, Absorption of ÉTHALINE ®. Observe the indicated maximum
level.
6/ TURNING OFF/EXTINGUISHING THE FIREPLACE
Caution: Never turn off/extinguish the flame using water or blowing on it!
•
If possible let finish the ÉTHALINE ® alone burning completely. This prevents the
evaporation of any fuel remained in the burner.
•
In the event of a burner with flame regulator you can decrease intensity of the flame
sealing partially the opening of the burner. To turn off/extinguish, move the regulator to
close the opening completely. In case of failure to turn off repeat more quickly, thus
stifling the flame.
•
In case you want to turn off/extinguish the fireplace before the fuel has been used, use
the accessory or the regulator to completely close the burner and wait until it turns off.
