Troubleshooting

All further inspection, maintenance and repair work must be performed by an authorized service center or a similarly qualified specialist if
you cannot solve the problem yourself!
Suspected malfunctions, disturbances or damages are often due to causes that the user can fix themselves. Follow the below
troubleshooting guidelines when checking the unit. In most cases, the problem can be resolved quickly and the electric scarifier +
dethatcher can be restored to proper working order.
Problem
Motor does not start.
Product does not reach full power.
Unsatisfying result.
Possible Cause
□ Not connected to power supply.
□ Power cord or plug is defective.
□ Other electrical defect to the product.
□ Safety lock button not pressed.
□ The machine is overheated.
□ Extension cord not suitable for operation
with this product.
□ Air vents are blocked.
□ Cutting device worn.
□ Scarified material exceeds capacity.
□ Scarifying depth is incorrect.

Solution
□ Connect to power supply.
□ Contact an authorized service agent.
□ Contact an authorized service agent.
□ Press Safety lock button first, then the
switch lever.
□ Clean the grass clippings around the
cylinder. Wait a while for the machine to
cool down, then restart again.
□ Use a proper extension cord.
□ Clean the air vents.
□ Replace the tine cylinder (see page 15).
□ Only scarify materials according to
capacity of the product.
□ Adjust depth.
