DTS-HD High Resolution Audio
DTS-HD High Resolution Audio est une version améliorée des formats
de signaux DTS, DTS-ES et DTS 96/24, compatible avec des fréquences
d'échantillonnage de 96 ou 48 kHz et jusqu'à 7.1 canaux de son numérique
discret. Le débit élevé des données permet d'obtenir un son de meilleure
qualité. Ce format est entièrement compatible avec les appareils
classiques, y compris les données surround numériques DTS 5.1 canaux.
DTS-HD Master Audio
DTS-HD Master Audio est un format audio créé par Digital Theater System
(DTS). Ce format permet de prendre en charge jusqu'à 8 canaux audio
avec une fréquence d'échantillonnage de 96 kHz et une résolution de 24
bits et jusqu'à 6 canaux audio avec une fréquence d'échantillonnage de
192 kHz et une résolution de 24 bits. Il est entièrement compatible avec
les appareils classiques, y compris les données surround numériques DTS
5.1 canaux.
DTS Neo:X
Cette technologie de décodage de matrice utilise le décodeur DTS NEO:X
pour lire une source 2 canaux ou des sources surround 5.1/6.1/7.1 canaux
comme son surround 7.1 canaux maximum. Il y a trois modes de lecture
: "Music" adapté à la lecture de la musique, "Cinema" adapté à la lecture
des films et "Game" qui est optimisé pour la lecture des jeux.

FLAC signifie Free lossless Audio Codec, et représente un format de
fichier audio libre sans perte. Sans perte signifie que le son est compressé
sans perte de qualité.
