Checking the height angle
You need a geared tripod!

Put the HEDÜ M-I or HEDÜ M-IIS central between two
walls. Mark point A.
Turn the laser by 180° and mark point B.

Now put the laser 50 cm away from point B. Correct the
laser height with the tripod crank so that the laser line goes
through point B.
Now turn the laser by 180° and mark the point C.
The device is exact if the result of A - C / L * 5 is less or
equal 1.5 mm.
