- Page 8 Product usage General instructions When using the iron for the first time, you may notice a slight emission of smoke and hear some sounds made by the expanding plastics. This is quite normal and it stops after a short time. We also recommend passing the iron over an ordinary cloth before using it for the first time.
- Page 9 Product usage Steam ironing Fill the iron as described in the section “how to fill the water tank”. Plug the iron into the mains. Steam ironing is only possible when the highest temperatures shown on the temperature control are selected. Otherwise, water may escape through the soleplate. Wait until the pilot light goes out, which indicates that the selected temperature has been reached.

- Page 16 Utilisation de l’appareil Instructions générales Quand vous utilisez le fer à repasser pour la première fois, il peut émettre un peu de fumée et des bruits dus à la dilatation des plastiques. C’est un phénomène normal qui s’arrête rapidement. Nous vous recommandons d’utiliser le fer à repasser sur un vieux chiffon avant de l’utiliser pour la première fois pour repasser votre linge.

- Page 24 Gebruik van het toestel Algemene instructies Wanneer u het strijkijzer voor het eerst gebruikt, merkt u mogelijk een lichte rookontwikkeling op en hoort u bepaalde geluiden door het uitzetten van het kunststof. Dit is volledig normaal en stopt na korte tijd. We raden u ook aan om het strijkijzer voor het eerste gebruik op een lap stof te gebruiken.
- Page 25 Gebruik van het toestel Als u hard water hebt, is het raadzaam om alleen gedestilleerd of gedemineraliseerd water te gebruiken. Gebruik geen chemisch ontkalkt of geparfumeerd water. Sla het strijkijzer niet op met water in het reservoir. Stoomstrijken Vul het strijkijzer zoals beschreven in de sectie 'het waterreservoir vullen'.
