- Page 2 WARNING / ADVERTENCIAS / AVERTISSEMENT Indicates a hazardous situation that, if not avoided, could result in minor or moderate injury. 1. For safety reasons, DO NOT use the unit to extract or store gasoline or other highly flammable liquids. 2. DO NOT use the unit to extract, siphon or store dangerous chemicals, poisons, acids alkalis, solvents or any flammable products. If these liquids were used in the unit, immediately drain, wash and thoroughly clean. 3. If the unit was used to extract salt water, eg. Bilge water, thoroughly flush and wash the unit with fresh, clean water. 4. The unit is not designed for long term storage of oil, or other fluids. The used oil must be poured in to a suitable container and disposed of in an appropriate manner. 5. DO NOT store either the unit or suction tubes near open flames, in areas of high temperatures, direct sunlight, rain or snow. 6. DO NOT dismantle, tamper with or adapt the unit for any other purpose than what it was originally intend- ed for. 7. DO NOT drop, throw or misuse the unit. 8. If you accidentally overfill the reservoir, turn OFF the air inlet valve immediately to avoid leaking.

Select and insert the appropriate diameter extracting tube into the dip- stick until it reaches the bottom of the oil pan, connect the main suction tube to the unit and to the extracting tube. 2.
