MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar with European facing to 94/20/EC A50-1
D 4 M12 x 30 x 1.25mm Fine Pitch Bolts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (25mm O.D.)
E 1 Left Hand Side Arm
F 1 Right Hand Side Arm
G 4 M12 x 35 x 1.25mm Fine Pitch Bolts, Nuts and Lock Washers
H 1 Exhaust Hanger
H1 2 Bushes (22mm O.D. – 20mm Long)
J 2 M8 x 50 x 1.25mm Bolts, Nuts, Flat Washers (20mm O.D.) and 4 Lock Washers
K 1 ZEP35 Electrical plate (not shown)
CB 2 M16 x 50mm Coupling Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers
FITTING
1 Remove rear exhaust rubber and lower exhaust. Remove heat shield and retain for use if towbar is removed.
2 Loosely attach Side Arms (E) and (F) to existing holes in outer faces of chassis rails using Bolts (D).
3 Loosely attach Cross Bar (A) to Side Arms (E) and (F) using Bolts (G).
4 Remove rear fog lamp to gain extra access for Exhaust Hanger (H). Remove 2 bolts from forward side of rear panel
retaining original exhaust hanger. Replace original bolts with Bolts (J), tighten Bolts (J). Place Bushes (H1) over Bolts
(J) and attach Exhaust Hanger (H) to Bolts (J) with remaining nuts and washers. Tighten all bolts.
5 Re-fit exhaust rubber onto Exhaust Hanger (H). Re-fit fog lamp.
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z1) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm , M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
