3. Installation
3.1. Safety during installation
Carefully read the manual before installation and
setup. Only trained service personnel are authorized
to perform installations, service and repairs on the
unit.

A dangerous situation.

3.2. Direction for mounting
To install additional I/O modules, use the included
bracket and screw kit. The bracket can be mounted
either horizontally or vertically on walls. Please refer
to the image below.
Additional I/O modules are installed in a serial con-
nection to the internal I/O module. Please ensure
that the bracket is positioned in a way that allows the
cables to reach the internal I/O module (please refer
to the image below).

3.4. Electrical Installation
1. Remove the screws and covers from the units.
2. Switch off the electricity supply.
- Turn off the main switch.
- (MA only) Turn off the inverter.
1. Remove an unused cable grommet on the inter-
nal I/O module. Refer to the picture below.
2. Connect the external I/O module cable (already
pinned to MODBUS A) to "MODBUS B" on the
internal I/O module. Refer to picture 110008817
and the picture below.
3. Refer to the electrical diagram for further elabo-
ration.
4. Reattach all covers and screws.
5. Turn on the electricity supply.
