- Page 16 Cut open and remove 1.1 Cut open the exterior plaster at the indicated exterior plaster position using a circular cutter and a milling bell. 1.2 Remove the cut round surface with a suit- able tool. Do not damage the exterior plaster! Mill away insulation 2.1 Mill away the insulation at right angles to the outer wall using the milling plate and milling bell.
