CAPPUCCINO
Push the on-off botton (4) to turn-on the machine.
Wait until the pilot light (14) turns on. The machine is now ready to make coffee.
First of all prepare a cup of espresso coffee in a cappuccino cup.
WARNING! remove the filter holder (10) from its seat.
1. Put the steam button (3) in position "I". The pilot light (15) will turn off immediately;
when the steam is ready to be supplied, the pilot light (15) will turn on again.
WARNING!
during this phase, a small amount of water or steam may drip out of the filter holder seat;
this is perfectly normal and due to the evaporation of residual water in the steam tubes.
2. Fill a container, preferably in metal, with 2 or 3 cm of fresh, refrigerated milk.
3. Put it under the cappuccino maker (5), making sure the spout is submerged in the milk.
4. To produce steam, turn the steam supply knob (16) anticlockwise.
5. After carrying out this operation, turn knob (16) clockwise and put the steam button
(3) back in position "0".
WARNING!: TO SWITCH FROM "CAPPUCCINO" TO "ESPRESSO" FUNCTION
Before making another espresso after using the steam function, the machine needs to
cool down.
Place a cup under the cappuccino maker spout (5), put button (3) in position "0", then turn
knob (16) anticlockwise to release the residual steam. Turn knob (16) clockwise again.
Then follow the indications described in the paragraph "Espresso Coffee".

HOT WATER

Push the on-off botton (4) to turn-on the machine.
Wait until the pilot light (14) turns on.
The machine is now ready to make both coffee and hot water.
1. Place a container under the cappuccino maker (5).
2. Turn the steam knob (16) anticlockwise and put the coffee/water button (2) in position "I".
3. When the water quantity has been reached, put button (2) back in positon "0".
4. Turn knob (16) clockwise again.
WARNING!
after making cappuccino and hot water, a small amount of residual water or steam might
come out of the steam spout. This is normal and is caused by residual steam in the tubes.
