MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar
B 1 Right Hand Side Arm
C 1 Left Hand Side Arm
D 2 M8 Flat Washer (25mm O.D)
E 1 Rear Exhaust 8mm Spacer Plate
F 4 M10x1.50mm Nut, Lock Washer and Flat Washer (30mm O.D.)
G 4 M12x40x1.75mm Bolt, Flat Washer (25mm O.D.) and Nyloc Nuts.
H 4 M8x50x1.25mm Set Bolt, Flat Washer (25mm O.D.), Flat Washer (20mm O.D.), Lock Washer and Nut.
J 2 M10 X 20mm Flat Washers
K 2 M8 Spigot Nuts
ZE 1 Electrical Plate (Sep M)
For use with either
PG53 Flange neck option – ZF3007 Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or
Class A50-1 or A50-X towball, which dimensionally conforms to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of
the towbar.
PG53Q Detachable neck option – ZQ3007. Please refer to ZQ fitting instructions for installation
PG53QF Detachable neck option – ZQF 3007. Please refer to ZQ fitting instructions for installation
FITTING
1. Undo the 3 bumper tag screws from the underside of the bumper .
Remove the x3 bolts from the rear crash beam/panel of the vehicle. Discard and replace with x3 Set Bolts and Flat Washers

(25mm O.D.) from fixings (H). Ensure all forward facing mating areas are free of mastic.
Add a fourth Set Bolt and Flat Washer (25mm O.D.) from fixing (H) to the rear panel, ensuring that washers (D) sits on the

forward face of the rear panel, simulating the thickness of the absent nut. Please Note: It may ease fitment if Bolts (H) are only
partially threaded before Side arms (B and C) are fitted.
Remove lashing eyes, and loosely locate Side Arms (B & C) over the existing horizontal bolts and vertical studs

5. Loosely attach using fixings (F) and the remaining fixings of (H). Please Note: It may ease fitment if Fixings (H) on the right hand
side are tightened before fitting Cross Bar (A).
Lower the exhaust be undoing the Rear exhaust hanger and forward hanger and rest on rear axle. Carefully feed Crossbar (A)

over the exhaust and loosely attach to the sidearm (B & C) using fixings (G). Raise cross bar to its highest position and tighten
fully.
To improve clearance from exhaust to cross bar add spacer (E) to rear exhaust studs, open up rubber exhaust holes to 11mm.

and push up to studs. Use spigot nut (K) with washer (J) and screw onto threads as shown. Tighten forward Hanger.
Attach selected neck and electrical plate. Push bumper edge inwards fully before tightening. Fully tighten all remaining

fixings to the recommended torque settings.
9. Attach warning label next to rear release lever for lower tailgate.
Recommended torque settings: Grade 8.8 bolts: M8
- 24Nm, M10 - 52 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M16 - 200 Nm
Grade 10.9: M12 – 120Nm,
