NOTE: The air suspension system
must have a voltage supply of at
least 12.6V to operate properly.
REMOVAL
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Prior to replacing any air
suspension components, the air
suspension air leak diagnostic
must be followed to identify
faulty components.
STEP 1:
Raise the lift until the lift pads make
contact with the vehicle without raising
the vehicle.
NOTE: Do not remove an air
compressor tube in an attempt to
depressurize the air suspension.
Always follow the air suspension
depressurization procedure in air
suspension. Failure to follow this
procedure may cause personal
injury or damage to the air
compressor and/or tube fittings.
STEP 2:
Depressurize the air suspension system.
STEP 3:
Raise the vehicle to suitable
working height.
NOTE: Ensure that you depress
both plastic tabs that hold the air
compressor filter into the frame
rail while removing. Failure to do
so will result in damage to the air
compressor filter.
STEP 4:
Depress both plastic tabs securing the
air compressor filter into the frame rail
during removal.

STEP 5:
Using an appropriate tool, remove the
air compressor filter.
NOTE: After depressurizing the
air springs and compressor,
there will still be some residual
pressure present. Do not
disconnect the air tube
fittings rapidly.
STEP 6:
Slowly loosen the air tube fittings from
the compressor assembly until all the
residual air is out of the system.
STEP 7:
Disconnect the air suspension
compressor air fittings.
STEP 8:
Disconnect the air suspension
compressor electrical connector.
STEP 9:
Remove rear air spring compressor bolt.
STEP 10:
Support the exhaust and lower it
enough to access the rear nuts
on the compressor.
STEP 11:
Remove the air spring compressor nuts.
STEP 12:
Remove the rear air spring compressor
from the vehicle by sliding the
compressor assembly rearward.
STEP 13:
Inspect the rear air spring compressor
bracket insulators. Replace if necessary.
