Safety instructions
1. The fan heater must be connected to an earthed power
source.
2. The fan heater must be placed on a flat, horizontal sur-
face. It must not be inverted.
3. Please be aware that the fan heater becomes very hot
when in use and therefore must be placed away from
combustible material, and not placed on a combustible
surface.
4. The fan heater must not be covered due to the danger of
fire.
5. The fan heater must not be placed under a power
socket.
6. The fan heater must not be exposed to moisture or wa-
ter. It must not be used outdoors in rainy weather.
7.
The fan heater must not be connected to a timer or any
similar product.
Use of the fan heater
1.
1. Connect the fan heater to the power outlet.
2. Turn the function selector (Fig. 1 - u) to the desired position.
3. The thermostat knob (Fig. 1 - v) is set for temperature selection (stepless).
• When the fan heater's internal thermostat (overheating protection) reaches its maximum temperature, it automatically
turns off the heating element – (the fan continues running on the 9 and 15 kW models). Once the temperature is normalised,
the heating element is activated again. The temperature is regulated within several degrees and a little click is heard when
the relay turns on and off.
Safety thermostat (only for the 9 kW and 15 kW models)
If the thermal cutout is activated (at temperatures above 110 ºC), the safety thermostat must be reconnected. You can do this
only after the temperature in the fan heater has fallen. Unscrew the cover (Fig. 2) and press gently the reset button with your
finger. Connection is re-established and the fan heater can function again after cooling.
After use
2kW, 3.0kW and 5kW: Set the function selector (Fig. 1 - u) to ventilation without heating (+) for 3 minutes. The fan heater can
then be turned off. Do not turn off the fan heater from the power outlet or by pulling the power cord from the outlet.
9kW and 15kW: Set the function selector (Fig. 1 - v ) to 0 and wait until the fan stops automatically. Do not turn off the fan
heater from the power outlet or by pulling the power cord from the outlet.
