DVB-TMobile7
In several DVB-T area's the DVB-T signals are transmitted in a horizontal polarization. Although the
DASC antenna is omni directional, in some cases you can receive better signals when you place the
antenna horizontally.
Using the extension coax
When using the DVB-T MOBILE 7 inside or when you are in a reception area where the DVB-T
signals are not so strong or are in a room with aluminum blinds or shielded/coated windows or are
experiencing bad reception, then use the 5 meter extension coax cable and place the DASC antenna
close to the window or even outside the window for better reception. The coax cable is specially made
and is a class A broadband cable. The end of the cable fits over the DASC antenna to make a splash
water tight connection.
Please note that DVB-T signal close to the ground are weaker than signals higher above ground. In
Theory good signal starts from approx. 1.25 meter from the ground.
Never place the antenna close to metal objects, computers, stereo installations, TV sets, telephones
or any house hold appliances because this can influence reception quality.
