instructions carefully before use and keep them for future

Important
Plug your appliance into an alternating current outlet only and
make sure that your household voltage corresponds to the
voltage printed on the appliance.
This appliance must never be used near water
(e.g. a filled wash basin, bathtub or shower).
Do not allow the appliance to get wet. Always unplug
after use. Even when switched off the appliance presents a
hazard when near water.
Using the hot appliance on wet hair may cause hair damage.
Always dry your hair completely and evenly before using the
appliance. Do not use the appliance on permed hair.
Do not touch the hot styling plates (6) nor the active forming
area (5) of the appliance. When hot, do not place on surfaces
that are not heat-resistant.
For additional protection, it is advisable to install a residual
current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current
not exceeding 30 mA in the electrical circuit of your bathroom.
Ask your installer for advice.
Children as of 8 years and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience or
knowledge can use this appliance provided they have been
given supervision and instructions on its safe use and under-
stand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the
appliance. Children must not carry out cleaning and user
maintenance unless they are supervised.
Do not wrap the mains cord around the appliance. Do not
bend the anti-kink sleeve excessively during use or storage.
Regularly check the mains cord for wear or damage. If the
cord is damaged, stop using the appliance and take it to an
authorized Braun Service Centre. Unqualified repair work can
lead to extreme hazards for the user.

Using the control pad
Connect the appliance to an electrical outlet. To switch on,
push the center button for at least 2 seconds. To move the
cursor on the screen, push the respective arrow.
To confirm your selection, press the center button
To return to the previous screen, press t .
In order to prevent an unintended change of settings, the
control pad is provided with an automatic lock feature. When
the control pad is locked and you try to press any button, the
symbol appears on the screen. To unlock the control pad,
press the center button for at least 1 second.
