- Page 13 Replacing the Battery When the battery is finished, replace it with a fresh 3V LiSOCl CR 1/3N battery. Before inserting the new battery, briefly short together the terminals of the battery holder with a screw driver or short length of wire. This ensures that the processor restarts correctly when you insert the fresh battery.
