QUICK START GUIDE
OPERATION
Adding NTBZ48 to your Z-Wave network.
Set your primary controller to add a new device (Include, Add
or Install mode). See your controller user manual for detailed
instructions.
Z-Wave Network Installation
•
Press any button to take NTBZ48 out of sleep mode.
•
Press and hold the FAN button for 5 seconds. "SETUP"
will be Displayed
•
Scroll to "ZWAVE" using the UP/DOWN arrow buttons
and press SELECT (Mode button).
•
"INSTALL" will be displayed.
•
When prompted by your Z-Wave controller, Press
SELECT (Mode button)
•
Display will flash "WAIT", then "SUCCESS" if installation
is successful.
•
Display will flash "FAILED" then "DONE", if installation
fails.
•
If NTB48 fails to connect, repeat steps 2 to 5 to retry
installation.
Your Z-Wave controller will indicate if the thermostat was
successfully added to network. (See your controller's
instruction manual for details).
System Modes
When your Home Automation gateway has been configured for
all devices connected to the network, the NTBZ48 operate as
follows:
•
Off: System is off. No heating or cooling will occur.
•
Heat: Only heating will occur.
•
Cool: Only cooling will occur.
•
Auto: Heating or cooling with occur based on setpoints. The
system will automatically switch between heating and cooling.
