ENGLISH
1 General
This sensor is used to measure the instantaneous value of voltages from zero
to 12V using the VTT system, with two measuring ranges.
The measurements are performed via a differential input with safety banana
jacks.
2 Operation
1. VTT system
This sensor is used in conjunction with the VTT console.
2. Sensor connection onto the VTT console
The sensor is connected by means of the connector at the rear of the housing:
- Align the sensor with the selected measurement channel.
- Slide the sensor onto the guiding system in the console.
- Follow the guiding system of the VTT console.
- Push fully home.
3. Scale
Depending on the range selector setting, the following ranges are available:
- One measuring scale of 0–6V.
- One measuring scale of 0–12V.
4. Measurement type
The sensor measures the instantaneous value of the voltage across its
terminals.
5. Preparation for operation
- Connect the sensor.
- Select the appropriate range via the selector switch.
- Power up the VTT console.
Range selector,
0/6V - 0/12V
6. Zeroing
A zero drift can be compensated as follows:
- Short the sensor input and connect it onto the console.
- Set the selector switch on 0/6V.
- Power up the VTT console.
- Locate the trim pot access hole on the sensor front.
- Use the screwdriver supplied with the console to adjust the trim pot until the
±
console display reads 0
