- Bulb removing :
1. Unplug the cable from the electric outlet and
remove the cable from the female socket in the back of the microscope.
2. Turn the microscope over, open the panel where the lamp is located by
loosening the screw.
3. Make sure that the bulb is cold.
4. Grasp the bulb by the sides and pull it out.
5. Replace, making sure not to touch the lamp with your fingers.
6. Close the panel and tighten the screw.
7. Return the microscope to its proper position.
8. Reattach the cable and plug it back into the electric outlet.
Replacement bulb 6 V / 20 W : Item no. 574 154.

Changing the fuse :
If the light does not work, even after changing the bulb, the fuse may need
to be replaced.
Only a qualified individual (such as a service technician) may perform this
operation after the microscope has been unplugged.
To access the fuse, unscrew the 4 screws on the base plate of the
microscope. Replace the defective fuse on the circuit board with a new fuse.
Replacement fuse : temporised, 250 mA, 250 V, diameter: 5 mm, length: 20
mm. Always fuses of the proper type (item no. 283 319).
5. After-Sales Service
This material is under a two year warranty and should be returned to our
stores in the event of any defects.
