1 Technical specifications
- Stable, robust metal body. The ergonomic position of the controls allows the
user to rest his (her) forearms on the table.
- Rust-proof, 360º rotatable binocular head with 45º inclined eyepiece tubes.
Dioptric adjustments on the 2 tubes. Interpipullar distance : 53 -72 mm.
- Wide field 10x eyepieces.

- Fine adjustment with micrometric knob and and coarse with rack and pinion.
160 mm optical length.
- 140 x 140 mm double layers mechanical stage. Moving range: 75 x 50 mm
with vernier.
- 1.25 Abbe condenser, rack and pinion control, with iris diaphragm and
retractable filter holder for blue and green filters (included).
- Built-in base illumination with on/off switch and dimmer, 6 volts - 20 watts
halogen lamp.
- Weight: Around 7 kg.
2 Setup
1. Remove the microscope from the packaging, and the various protections
items. Save all packaging material for long-term storage or return shipment.
2. Place and tighten the binocular head WITHOUT jamming it. To adjust the
head to your preference gently.
3. Screw the objectives 4x, 10x, 40x and/or 60x or 100x onto the nosepiece.
4. Insert the eyepieces into the eyepiece tubes.
Note: If you want to use your microscope with an external light source, you
can install a mirror (included with the MEDIO microscope) in place of
the illumination:
- unplug the microscope,
- unscrew the black metal illumination,
- screw the connector,
- clip the mirror into the connector.
