POWERMAX1650 PFC IGBT REPLACEMENT
Installation
1. Remove and discard the old PFC IGBT and mounting screws (4).
2. Remove the old thermal grease with isopropyl alcohol.
3. Apply a thin coat of grey thermal grease (Part number 128836) to the PFC IGBT (Part number 109320)
mounting surface.
4. Install the PFC IGBT to the heat sink, as shown below., with supplied screws and tighten to 35 in-lb (40 kg cm).
5. Re-torque after 2 minutes. Repeat until torque is maintained. Clean excess grease from the heat sink.
