Installation and user instructions
HOW TO INSTALL AN IVERNEA ?
On the first installation of the Ivernea screen on the automatic slatted cover, position all the supplied Sandowsclips. Follow
the order below:
- Stretch the Ivernea winterisation screen over the automatic slatted cover with the side showing your chosen colour on the
outside. Around its edges it has a certain number of eyelets in which the supplied Sandowclips must be fitted.
- For each Sandowclip, position the tilting plastic tip in the direction of the elastic strap.
- Insert this plastic tip through the eyelet from the inner side towards the outer side of the screen so that the tip is on the outer side.
- Tilt the tip so that it is at 90° to the elastic strap. This prevents the Sandowclip from slipping out of the eyelet.
- Stretch the Ivernea screen over the automatic cover avoiding any wrinkles.
For each fitted Sandowclip, position its PVC hook :
- On the slat at the end of the pool (on the pool width or widths).
- At the join between two slats on both pool lengths.
After assembly, eventually adjust the hook position between the automatic slatted cover slats to remove all wrinkles from the
Ivernea screen on the automatic cover.
After installing, make sure that the Ivernea screen side meshes are correctly against the pool vertical sides.
REMOVAL AND STORAGE
To remove the Ivernea screen from the automatic slatted cover, just remove each hook from the Sandowclips on the slats (but
leave the Sandowclips fitted on the screen eyelets).
Remove the screen from the automatic slatted cover keeping all the debris dirt and leaves on the Ivernea.
Once fully removed, rinse it, leave it to dry and store it in your technical room or in an area not exposed to heat and sun.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
The Ivernea winterisation screen is a protective screen for the winterisation of pools fitted with an opaque automatic
slatted cover. Use prohibited in summer or during very sunny spells due to the risk of damage to the PVC slats caused by
overheating.
WARRANTY
The Ivernea screen has a degressive 2 year warranty for all manufacturing defects (materials and welds) in the normal
conditions of use listed above.
Snags, tears and fastness of colours are excluded from the warranty, as are shrinkage and/or stretching of less than 1%.
Wear against coping is not covered by the warranty.
If there is an error in the colour and/or quality, the product cannot be exchanged if it has already been used.
Remove the cover before rolling the automatic cover.
Not suitable for automatic covers with solar PVC slats.
