To use your TACTYS T707/T-T807 and T808 keyboard, connect its USB cable to a USB port on your PC or your MAC; the
red indicator light on the "padlock/delete" key (9) lights up during the recognition and installation phase of this new
peripheral, when this light goes out, the keyboard is operational
Specify whether operation is in PC or MAC mode by pressing the TACTYS key (10 key with green rectangle) and one of
the PC or MAC keys positioned on the right of the key pad (11 and 12) simultaneously. The current mode is saved for
subsequent start-ups. Characters printed in pale grey indicate specific Mac access.

Use
The functions and layout of the keys is similar to that on an ordinary keyboard; certain functions require the TACTYS
(10 orange rectangle) key to be pressed at the same time to access the function marked in orange or the character
underlined in orange For example:
• To adjust the volume of the beep sound: TACTYS key + up or down arrow
• To lock the keyboard for cleaning : TACTYS key + "padlock/delete" (9)
• To access the F1 to F12 keys: lower case mode + TACTYS key + F1-12
• To access the F13 to F24 keys: upper case mode + TACTYS key + F1-12
The capacitive touch sensor technology with which TACTYS keyboards are equipped means comfortable and fluid
typing without applying pressure to the keys. The keyboard is splash-resistant, but does not operate if immersed in
liquid. It can take steam and temperatures up to 70°.
Cleaning the keyboard
The keyboard is protected to IP65 standard and its tempered glass impact surface can withstand all disinfectant
solutions used in hospitals, lavatories or clean rooms.
When cleaning, it is recommended to lock the keyboard (TACTYS key 10 + 9 backspace); the red indicator light comes
on: the keyboard and touchpad are inactive. To reactive them, repeat the same operation.

TW907/TW908 WIRELESS KEYBOARDS
To use your TACTYS TW907 or 908 keyboard, connect the aerial module to a USB port in your PC or your MAC; the
green indicator light (13) positioned at the centre of the module lights up as soon as the peripheral is recognized and
installed.
To save energy, the wireless keyboard has a sleep mode which is activated automatically two minutes after the last key
was pressed. To re-activate the keyboard, touch the circular energy management zone on the lower right-hand of the
keyboard. The green "operational" indicator light (13) comes on when the keyboard is re-activated and flashes slowly in
sleep mode.
These points notwithstanding, these keyboards are operated in the same way as the wired models.
The keyboards can remain in sleep mode for several weeks before discharging and can be used for over twenty hours of
continuous typing. They can be used at a range of over 20 m with a remote PC
Recharging
When the red "battery" indicator light (14) flashes, charge the keyboard by connecting it to the mains charger
provided. The red indicator light comes on during charging and goes out when fully charged.
SLIM 711/SLIM 811 WIRED USB EXTRA FLAT KEYBOARDS
To use your TACTYS SLIM 711 and SLIM 811 keyboard, connect its USB cable to a USB port on your PC or your MAC; the
red indicator light on the "padlock/delete" key (9) lights up during the recognition and installation phase of this new
peripheral; It goes off almost instantly and a beep tells you that the keyboard is operational.
Specify whether operation is in PC or MAC mode by pressing the TACTYS key (10 key with green rectangle) and one of
the PC or MAC keys positioned on the right of the key pad (11 and 12) simultaneously. The current mode is saved for
subsequent start-ups. Characters printed in pale grey indicate specific Mac access.
