Before First Use
IMPORTANT: Please check all packaging material carefully before discarding
as there may be accessory parts contained within the packaging material.
WARNING: Do not place any part of the product in a dishwasher.
Using Your Toaster:
1. Check the toast slots for any remaining packaging. Be sure slots are
completely clear before use.
2. Place toaster on a flat, stable and heat resistant surface away from the
edge and at least 3 inches away from the wall or back of counter.
3. Make sure the bread carriage lever is in the up position.
4. Run toaster empty through 1 full cycle to allow the new element to preheat
and burn off any dust that may have accumulated during assembly.
Attention: First use may cause a slight odor or small smoking upon heating,
it is normal. This is a result of the heating element chemical reaction. It quickly
goes away.
5. With the bread carriage in the up position insert the slice(s) you would like
to toast.
6. Turn the browning control knob to desired position. The higher the number
the darker the toast (1-6).
7. Press the carriage lever down until it locks into position
8. When the toaster cycle is completed the toast rises automatically.
