Use this table to identify and remedy a problem or fault:
Problem
• Dehumidifier does not
operate
• The ON/OFF lamp
does not show a green
light
• Dehumidifier does not
operate
• Green control lamp
illuminates
• Red control lamp illu-
minates
• Shut the dehumidifier down immediately, if it is not operating correctly!
• Wait one minute before starting to locate the fault as the electronic equipment may
have switched off the dehumidifier for safety reasons
Contact a Dantherm Air Handling dealer if the dehumidifier does not start again. This is
also applicable when the dehumidifier is operating without extracting water which is
probably a defect in the cooling circuit. Contact a service technician to remedy the de-
fect.
Cause
No power input
If a hygrostat is connected
as accessory:
The setpoint value of the
hygrostat is too high
Room temperature is be-
low 3 °C/37.4 °F and the
dehumidifier is automati-
cally put out of operation
Pressure/temperature in
the high-pressure side of
the cooling system is too
high
Action
Check that the power ca-
ble is correctly connected
to power source and unit.
If the power cable is con-
nected, check the branch
fuse
Reduce setpoint value. If
the dehumidifier does not
operate, remove the hy-
grostat. If the dehumidifier
now operates, it means
that the hygrostat is defec-
tive
Wait for the temperature to
rise above 3 °C/37.4 °F
Check the filter and dehu-
midifier for accumulation of
dirt.
Check that the fan is work-
ing
