ØVRIGE FUNKSJONER
TERMOSTAT
Termostaten er plassert bak frontdekselet på høyre side. Fjern frontdekselet ved å fjerne de 4
skruene (4) som sitter i overkant og underkant av dekselet. Termostaten er innstilt for å gi riktig
temperatur under de fleste forhold. Riktig temperatur i kjølerommet vil være 5 -8
varer. Etter nedkjøling av kjølerommet når temperaturen har stabilisert seg, kontrolleres
temperaturen på følgende måte: Plasser et termometer av god kvalitet i et glass med vann på
gulvet, les av temperaturen på termometeret etter en tid. Dette gjøres når kompressoren
stopper på termostaten (NB! Ikke når avriming pågår). Hvis du har behov for å justere
temperaturen, gjøres dette på følgende måte:
Ønskes høyere temperatur (varmere), dreies termostatknappen mot urviser.
Ønskes lavere (kaldere) temperatur, dreies termostatknappen med urviser.
AVRIMING
Aggregatet er utstyrt med avrimingsur. Uret sørger for automatisk avriming 4 ganger pr. 24
timer, hver gang i en 1/2 time.
INNVENDIG LYS I KJØLEROM
Den lysende røde bryteren på aggregatets "kalde side" betjener kjøleromslyset. (NB! Husk å
slukke lyset når du forlater kjølerommet).
VIKTIG
For å oppnå høy virkning og gunstig driftsforhold (lengre levetid), er det viktig at kondensatoren
rengjøres for støv og smuss regelmessig. Minst 2 ganger pr. år eller etter behov. Dette gjøres
enklest ved å støvsuge kondensatorfinnenes underside. For å komme til kondensatoren, fjern
frontdekselet ved å fjerne de 4 skruene (4) som sitter i overkant og underkant av dekselet.
NB! CU-450 Kontroller samtidig avløpsgjennomføringen (kobberrøret) slik at vannet
renner fritt fra kjøleromssiden til fordampningsbeholderen på toppen av kompressoren. Deretter
monteres frontdekselet tilbake på plass.
NB! CU-900 Avrimingsvannet må ledes til oppsamlingsbeholder (bøtte e.l.) eller ledes til sluk
ved hjelp av en plastslange.
Romtemperaturen på varm side av aggregatet må alltid være høyere enn
temperaturen i kjølerommet og helst ikke overstige 26
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
COOLMASTER CU-450/CU-900
Congratulation with your choice of the Coolmaster CU-450/CU-900 for your cold-storage room
and we advise you to follow the installation instructions closely in order to obtain the best
possible result.
1. The Coolmaster CU-450/CU-900 must be connected to a 10 amp
earthed contact innstalled outside the cold storage room.
2. Wall opening for Coolmaster CU-450/CU-900.
Widt: 550 mm (22")
Height: 650 mm (26")
The wall opening should be situated min.100-200 mm (4" - 8") from the interior celing.

This is conditional upon a well insulated room in accordance with standard regulations
and a storage room door which fits correctly. If the Coolmaster is used to other purpose
than cooling a food storage room, it may be that the authorites concerned place other
requirements on the lighting and alarm system.
The cooling unit, Coolmaster CU-450/CU-900 is equipped with more functions than have
normally been the case previosly. These are in order to improve safety, ease of use and
economy.
4. The unit should be left to stand the right way up for 2 hours before being switched on.

INSTALLATION
1. Fasten plastic insulation tape (1) to the lower edge of the wall opening with the
adhesive side against the woodwork.
2. Remove the frontpanel by unscrewing the 4 screws (4) located at the front panel top and
bottom.
3. From outside the storage room push the Coolmaster into the wall opening until the
flange make contact. Fasten to the wall using the 4 screws (3).
NOTE! Tighten the flange screws (3) no more than is necessary to press the insulation
tape gently against the wall.
4. Replace the front panel (2)
5. From the storage room side fill the gap between the Coolmaster and the opening
in the wall (5) with insulating material. NB! Do not use spray foam, which hardens.
6. Fasten the D-frame tape (6) around the Coolmaster so it presses against the frame of the
wall opening. This is important to ensure vibrations are not transmitted to the wall
construction.
7. Fit the wood frame, press them carefully against the plastic insulation tape and nail
to the wall. (7)
8. NB! The unit must be kept standing the right way up for 2 hours before
switching on. If the lead is not long enough do not extend the cable. An electrician must
install a 13 amp socket nearby. Never leave the refrigeration unit running permanently on an
extension cable.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
THERMOSTAT.
The thermostat is placed behind the front panel at the upper right hand side Remove the
frontpanel by unscrewing the 4 screws (4) located at the front panel top and bottom. The
thermostat is set at posi-tion 4, which will give the correct tempera-ture under most conditions.
The correct temperature in the cold storage room will be 5-8
down the room and when temperature has become stabilized, check the temperature in the
following manner: Place a good-quality thermometer in a glass of water on the floor. After a
while read off the temperature. This should be done when the compressor has been stopped by
the thermostat (NB. Not during the process of defrosting).
If you find it necessary to adjust the temperature, do so in the following way:
If a higher (warmer) temperature is required; turn the thermostat control in an
