Outside environmental sensor
1. Description
The DENV01 module is an outside environmental
data measuring module. The module is capable of
measuring temperature (in °C), humidity level (in
%rH), atmospheric pressure (in hPa) and luminosity
(in lx). In order to work, the DENV01 requires a
DCAPT01 interface.
2. Wiring between the sensor and the
DCAPT01
• Recommended cable length: 20 mm
• The cable must be rigid to fit in the connectors. For
multistrand cable, these must have a terminal.
• It is recommended to use a cable with these
specifications: wires section 24-16 AWG (24 AWG
not recommended because of their fragility) and
stripping length 6-8 mm.
3. Operation
• Several DENV01 modules can be connected on the
Domintell bus, each with its dedicated DCAPT01
interface
• The configuration software detects the DENV01
module (scan). It is also available in the « add
module » menu in the "sensors" category "
• The module is then displayed in the « Sensors »
section of the central column and the temperature
sensor is displayed in the "Temperature sensor"
section

DENV01
• The DENV01 can only work with the new
generation DGQGs (DGQG02 and following)
• Links are possible on all the module inputs
• The name of the inputs can be edited (i.e.
"Kitchen")
• In « PC active » mode, the different sensors values
are displayed in the window
• The module can be updated
4. Restrictions
• Only one DENV01 per DCAPT01 interface
• The DENV01 is not compatible with the DGQG01
• The module will not work with the "Domintell2"
software, GoldenGate is required
• In order to work properly, the DENV01 must
mounted on the Northern side of the building
and in no circumstances be subject to direct sun
exposure. It must also be installed in the right
way (see sketch below).
