OPERATION

This adaptor can be connected to a wall outlet, a vehicle cigarette light outlet or an in-seat EmPower®
airplane power outlet.
The adaptor offers a second output power through the USB power port (1).
The USB power port supports 5W maximum power and 1A maximum current
consumption.
At any given time, make sure the connected USB device does not exceed the
maximum power consumption and maximum current consumption.

To connect to a wall outlet

1.
Connect the included AC power cable to the AC power socket (4) on the adaptor.
2.
Insert the AC plug into the wall outlet.
3.
The green LED light illuminates to indicate that the adaptor is ready for use.
4.
To power your notebook, insert the output power cable (3) with the correct connector to your
notebook.
5.
To power / charge a USB device, insert the device into the USB power socket (1).
6.
Unplug and store the AC power cable properly when not being used.

To connect to a vehicle cigarette lighter outlet

1.
Place the adaptor on a sturdy, non-flammable base, which allows sufficient air circulation for
cooling. Do not put into the glove compartment or car seat pocket.
2.
Connect the included cigarette lighter power cable into the cigarette lighter outlet (5) on the adaptor.
The centre pin of the cigarette lighter plug is the positive terminal, "+", and the two side clamps are
the negative terminals, "–".
3.
Connect the other end of the cable into the vehicle's cigarette lighter outlet.
4.
The green LED light illuminates to indicate that the adaptor is ready for use.
5.
To power your notebook, insert the output cable with the correct connector to your notebook.
6.
To power / charge a USB device, insert the device into the USB power socket (1).
7.
Unplug and store the cigarette lighter cable properly when not being used.
Do not use the adaptor when starting the engine. The power may be interrupted
and you may need the restart your computer. Do not operate notebooks when
your car's engine is still running and is parked in a garage with limited space. The
car's exhaust gases will cause serious harm to your body.
