    1 - MECHANICAL INSTALLATION 1/ Determine the location where the Melodys Flash LED beacon stobe light will be installed according to the location of the control box: a 5-meter cable is provided to ensure the link between the 2 elements. 2/ Choose the location where the Melodys Flash control box will be installed according to the presence nearby of the Mains power source : - Remove the cover of the control box by loosening the 4 screws with a flat screwdriver.

    2 - ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION 2.1 - DIP Switches Configuration Once the Melodys Flash is mounted on the wall, make sure that the dip switches are set according to your installation. Configuration of the «INIT/N°CIRCUIT» dip switches - Dip switch 1: sets the Melodys LED flash in INIT mode (initialisation). This mode enable the pairing of the Melodys Flash with a master clock (SIGMA).

    Powering on the Melodys LED Flash: When powered up for the first time the Melodys LED Flash is in the INIT mode (orange «Ψ» Led flashing). Set the Sigma master clock in the INIT mode (see the master clock user manual). Once the Melodys is initialized the «Ψ» Led turns red then green after the Melodys has received a DHF sounder control command from the master clock.

    2 - INSTALLATION ÉLECTRIQUE 2.1 - Configuration DIPS Une fois le Melodys Flash à LED fixé sur son support, s’assurer que la configuration des dips correspond à l’installation. Configuration des dips : «INIT/N°CIRCUIT» - Dip 1 : permet la mise en mode INIT (initialisation) du Melodys Flash.LED. Ce mode permet de pouvoir appairer le Melodys Flash à une horloge mère (SIGMA).

    Melodys Flash LED sous tension : A la première mise en service, le Melodys Flash est en mode INIT (Led «Ψ» orange clignotante). Mettre l’horloge mère Sigma en mode INIT (voir la notice de l’horloge mère). Une fois le récepteur initialisé, la Led «Ψ» est alors rouge dans un premier temps puis verte après réception des commandes de carillons DHF de l’horloge mère.
