• Do not jam the mains cable [8] in drawers or doors, for example.
• Untangle the mains cable [8] if it is twisted.
• Do not pull, twist or bend the mains cable [8] and do not pull or route it over/
on sharp, pointed objects or hot surfaces. Damaged or tangled mains cables
[8] increase the risk of electric shock!
Note
A slight odour initially develops after switching on the device for the first time.
This is normal and not harmful to your health. Allow the device to run for three to
five minutes. After that you can use the device as normal.

rying the hair
> Dry your hair with a towel beforehand.
> Switch on the hair dryer using the toggle switch [6]:
Gentle air flow
High air flow
> Select the heat setting [5]:
Low temperature
Medium temperature
High temperature
> Dry and/or style your hair as desired.
After each use/at each break, always switch off the hair dryer at the toggle
switch [6] (setting 0).
> Let the volume diffuser [9] and the professional nozzle [1] cool down before
removing them.
> For your safety, the device switches off automatically if it overheats.
> Pull the mains plug out of the socket and allow the device to cool down.
> Before switching on again, check the air outlet [2] and the filter [3] for block-
age (e.g. fluff, dust and hair that has been sucked in).
