WATER FILTER REMOVAL
AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
MODEL RS2
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Using filter knob, turn the old filter ¼ turn
counter clockwise and remove from refrigerator.
2. Remove new filter from packaging take off red cap.
3. With the label facing down, insert the new
filter into the filter receptacle.
Turn the filter a ¼ turn clockwise so that the
lock arrow is pointing up, and
is aligned with arrow (See Illustration).
4. Run water from the dispenser for 5 minutes at
0.5 GPM (about 2½ gallons) to clear
the system and prevent sputtering.
5. To reset the indicator light, press and hold the
ICE type button and the CHILD LOCK button
at the same time for 3 seconds.
6. Open the refrigerator door and check for leaks
7. Place the six-month replacement calendar label
on inside of door
Protect filter cartridge from freezing.
Do not use with water that is microbiologically
unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate
disinfection before or after the system.
Cartridge Life : 300 US Gal (1,136L) or 6 months
Tested and cer fied by The Water Quality Associa on
to NSF/ANSI 53*, NSF/ANSI 42* and to CSA B483.1
