Under the above conditions, the automatic overload protection for the motor is triggered and
the power supply to the device is interrupted. In such cases, the "Power/Overheat" LED lights
up red. Take the following measures:
1. Unplug the power cord from the AC outlet to allow shredder to cool down. Tear or cut off
any excess paper from the top of the shredder.
2. Connect the power plug to the AC power socket again. Wait until the "Power/Overheat"
LED lights up green. Set the switch to its REV position. Pull the remaining paper away from
the cutting blades. Then set the switch back to its AUTO position. Repeat this process, if
necessary.
With the Main Switch in the AUTO position and the feed opening clear, you are now ready

to resume normal shredding.
Cleaning
Warning! The blades of the device are very sharp! Danger of injury!
1. Switch off the unit.
2. Disconnect the power plug from the power socket.
3. Empty the drip trays regularly.
4. Clean the surface of the housing with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use any solvents or
cleaning agents.
Remove any residue in the cutting holes with a suitable object.
