The best way to extend the life of the wood, is to retreat on regular basis. The wood contains tannic acid. This means that the wood after some time can leak and discolor the ground underneath. We recommend not to place the wood on a surface, which must not be affected by this.
- Page 6 Cleaning and maintenance: For cleaning only use water or a gentle detergent. Wipe dry with a clean cloth The surface of the wood is water resistant, but avoid long soaking in the water environment, as this can lead to deformation and make moss. Refresh the wood one time per year, when the product fades off.
