1.
Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2.
Remove the flexible hose from the resonator box. (Fig. 1)
3.
Unclip and remove the resonatorbox as shown. (Fig. 2)
4.
Unbolt and remove the engine cover. (Fig. 3)
5.
Remove the complete breather assambly,by pushing the yellow knobs. (Fig. 4)
6.
Carefully remove the breather pipe from the assembly. To carry it out it may be necesarry
to gently warm the pipe. (Fig. 5)
7.
Undo the hose clamp which connects the air box to the throttle body. (Fig. 6)
8.
Unbolt and remove the air box from the vehicle as shown. (Fig. 7)
9.
Unbolt and remove the 2 bolts securing the air box support bracket to the engine. (Fig. 8)
10.
207 only: Remove the 2 electrical connectors from the bracket and remove bracket.(Fig. 9)
11.
207 only: Fit the supplied 'L' bracket (A2122-126) using the original nut. (Fig.10)
12.
207 only: Fit wiring loom to the small 'L' bracket (A2122-126) using a plastic tie. Make
sure there is enough clearance to exhaust manifold. (Fig.11)
13.
Fit the silicone sleeve onto the throttle body using the small hose clamp supplied. (Fig. 12)
14.
Mount the saddle bracket to the "L" bracket (A2122-07112) using the conical M6 bolt,
conical washer,M6 washer and M6 nut supplied. (Fig. 13)
15.
Mount the bracket assembly onto the engine using a bolt removed in step 9. (Fig. 14)
16.
Fit the large hose clamp around the saddle bracket. Do not fully tighten at this moment.
17.
Refit the breather assembly to the engine as shown.(Fig. 15)
18.
Fit the vent plug into the plastic intake tube as shown. (Fig. 16)
19.
Fit the plastic intake tube into the silicone sleeve as shown. (Fig. 17)
20.
Slide the new filter onto the plastic intake tube, ensure the filter neck sits onto the saddle
bracket.(ensure the hose clamp fits around the filter neck and saddle bracket) Now tighten
the hose clamp (Fig. 18)
21.
Fit the breather hose onto the breather pipe and breather assembly as shown. (Fig. 19)
22.
Refit the engine cover. (Fig. 20)
23.
Carry out a final height / alignment check and tighten all the hardware.
24.
Carefully expand the flexi cold air hose.Feed the hose down to the lower spoiler and
secure the top of the hose to the wireloom using a cable tie supplied. (Fig. 21)
25.
Secure the end of the cold air hose to the grill using a cable tie supplied. (Fig. 22)
26.
Reconnect the negative battery terminal. Installation is now complete.

WARNING: Before starting the
engine carry out a final fitment check
of the K&N performance kit. It will be
necessary for all intake systems to
be checked periodically for
realignment, clearance and
tightening of all connections. Failure
to follow the above instructions or
proper maintenance may void the
warranty.
FILTER MAINTENANCE: K&N
suggests checking the filter periodi-
cally for excessive dirt build-up.
When the element becomes covered
in dirt (or once a year), service it
according to the instructions on the
Re-charger service kit available from
your K&N dealer, part number 99-
5003EU.
