Introduction to the product

Thank you for purchasing this remote control. The patented technology of this product allows
you to control all Fujitsu air conditioners on the market without complicated settings.
How to use it:
Open the back cover and insert two AAA batteries (UM-4, R03), paying attention to polarity.
Try the remote control. If the air conditioner does not switch on, or if some function does not
respond, point the remote control towards the indoor unit, press and hold SELECT, and quickly
release the button when the air conditioner turns on.
TIMER:
To operate in TIMER or SLEEP mode, the remote control must remain pointing towards the air
conditioner and at a suitable distance, as the remote control will send a signal at the program-
med time.
You can set TIMER ON (to power on) only when the air conditioner is off, and TIMER OFF (to
power off) only when the air conditioner is on.
The TIMER increases by one hour with each button press up to a maximum of 8 hours.
To cancel the TIMER, press the button until no time appears on the display.
SLEEP:
In cold mode, by pressing the SLEEP button, the temperature will increase one degree every hour (for the first two hours), and
will switch off automatically after 8 hours. In hot mode, by pressing the SLEEP button, the temperature will decrease by one degree
every hour (for the first two hours), and will switch off automatically after 8 hours.
The F.COOL and F.HEAT buttons (fast cooling and fast heating) quickly set the air conditioner, with an optimal temperature, to
hot or cold mode.
Checking the remote control works:
If the remote control does not seem to work, you can do the following test. Insert the batteries as indicated, frame the LED you
see on the top edge of the remote control with a digital camera or a smartphone, as if you wanted to photograph it (not an iPhone,
any other brand is fine), and press the START-STOP button repeatedly. Through the screen of your smartphone you will see the
LED light up slightly (the light is infrared, which is not visible to the naked eye).
If you still have the original remote control, and do not think it works, do the same test on that remote control. If the LED lights
up, the remote control works and it probably means that the air conditioner indoor unit has a fault in its signal receiver.
