IMPORTANT: Choose the ideal place to install the light so that it does not interfere the chute rotation
nor with the snow's trajectory
Install the light assembly on the light bracket. Secure in
place with a hex. bolt 7/16'' n.c. x 1'', flat washer and a
hex nut.
Installation on a Prestige or a Versatile:
a) Remove the hex bolt 5/16''n.c. x 3/4'', flange washer
and the flat washer that holds the gear box support.
b) Install the light on the snowblower using the hex bolt
5/16''n.c. x 3/4'' and the knob (item 1) as shown.
c) Adjust the angle of the light and tighten the nuts and
the knob.
d) Connect the light connector toe the wire assembly
connector (item 2).
e) Secure the wire with a tie wrap so that it does not
interfere with any mobile parts.
Installation on a Pioneer
a) Drill a hole in an appropriate place with a 11/32'' bit..
b) Install the light on the snowblower using a hex. bolt
5/16''n.c. x 3/4'' and a knob (item 1) in the hole and
tighten firmly
c) Secure the wire with a tie wrap so that it does not
interfere with any mobile parts.
Install and connect the switch on the control box:
a) Remove the two pan head metal screws #8 x
1/4'' (item 1) from the top of the control box and re-
move the cover (item 2).
b) Find the two available connectors (item 3) coming
from the wire assembly and connect them to the
terminals on the switch (item 4).
c) Make sure the light is operational (make sure the
control box is connected to the vehicle's battery).
d) Pierce a hole in the decal (item 5) in the space pro-
vided.
e) Remove the nut from the switch and insert it in the
hole.
f) Screw the rubber boot (item 6) on the switch to se-
cure it in place.
g) Close the control box with cover with the metal
screws. Make sure the wire are well placed in the
box.
