1.
Remove the battery earth cable.
Remove the covering in the trunk and also the floorcovering.
Clear the entrance to both rearlightunits.
2.
Drill a hole of the size of the inside ring of the rubber grommet the in the back of the trunk just behind the socketplate of the towbar.
Remove all metal particles around the hole and treat it with an anti-rust paint.
Fit the rubber grommet into the hole.
3.
Lead the brown/white wire from the battery, through the interior and trunk, to the socket.
Fit the ring tongue of the brown/white wire to the + pole of the battery.
Fit the fuse and cover to the fuseholder, after the socket has been connected.
Watch out sharp part!
4.
Route the wiring harness from the boot through the grommet to the socket.
watch out the heat from the exhaust pipe!
Pull the rubber coverplate over the wire-harness.
Remove the contactholders from the socket and fit the wires as follows:
Trailer lighting:
Left turn signal
Rearfoglight
Rearfoglight
Earth 1-8
Right turn signal
Right taillight
Brakelights
Left taillight
Reverse light
Battery supply
Earth 9-13
Fit the socket to the towbarplate.
5.
On both rearlightunits connectors are located.
Disconnect the connectors located on the right side.
Fit the connector of the harness, with the green and white wires, to the just disconnected connector from the right rearlightunit.
Disconnect the connectors located on the left side.
Fit the connector of the wiring harness with the grey wire to the just disconnected connector from the left rear light unit.
Connect then the blue, yellow and black/red wires. Finally replace the original connector of the vehicule.
Fit the white wire to chassis earth.
6.
Lead the wire-harness with the black and brown wires as well as the red wire along the left side of the vehicle towards the dashboard.
Disconnect the connector of the breaklightswitch and plug the connector of the harness with the red wire into the cleared position.
The breaklightswitch is located on the breakpedal.
7.
Lead the brown and black wire through the rubber grommet to the motor compartiment.
Remove the cover of the fusebox. Pull out the fusebox-interior and tunr it around.
Connect the 2 wires, with the ring-tongues, (black and brown) of the harness by routing it from underneath the electronic part as follows:

Reconnect the battery and check all electric functions, with the caravan/trailer connected.
Reinstall disassembled parts.
