REMOVAL
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1:
Drain coolant. Remove small coolant pipe.
STEP 2:
Disconnect and remove throttle valve
control module.
STEP 3:
Remove water pump belt.
STEP 4:
Remove nut and bolt securing intake
manifold support.

STEP 5:
Remove bonded rubber bushing from intake
manifold support.
STEP 6:
If equipped, disconnect connector from
map-controlled thermostat.
STEP 7:
Remove engine coolant temperature sensor.
STEP 8:
Remove five bolts attaching water pump
and remove water pump.
