Remove the battery earthcable.
Remove side covering in the back of the car.
Open the entrance to the rearlightunits.

Use the existing rubber grommets under the rearlightunits.
3.
Route the wiringharness in the boot and lead the end with the green and brown wires on the right side through the hole to the socket.
Do the same on the left side
Pull the coverplate over the wiringharness.
Remove the contactholder from the socket and fit the wires as follows:
Trailer lighting:
Left turn signal
Rearfoglight
Earth
Right turn signal
Right taillight
Brakelights
Left taillight
Rearfoglight

On both rearlight units a connector is located.
Disconnect them.
Connect the green and brown wires of the wiringharness corresponding with the connector on the right side.
Do the same with the other end on the left side.
Fit the white wire to chassis earth.
5.
Mount the socket on to the towbar.
Reconnect the battery and check all electric functions, with trailer/caravan connected.
Reinstall disassembled parts.
