1. INTRODUCTION
SLADDA is a sustainable and durable bicycle that
is easy to adapt to your everyday needs and
requires minimal maintenance.
The bicycle uses a belt drive system instead of a
regular chain. The belt is long lasting and easy
to maintain, since it will not rust and it does not
need to be lubricated with oil. That means no
harmful substances for the environment as well
as a cleaner bicycle, which is practical if you
keep your bicycle indoors.
This booklet contains all you need to know
about your bicycle, including how to assemble
it, test it before riding and keep it in good
condition. Should any parts need to be replaced
at any point in the future there is a full list of
components and how to order them.
* This bicycle has a rear wheel coaster brake
and automatic gears, which have been specially
chosen to limit the use of cables. It is important
that you familiarize yourself with the braking
system of the bike. If you are not used to the
back-pedal method of braking, you will find
instructions in the Test Your Bike Before Riding
section on how to use this technique.
