Before Use - General Information:

• For indoor domestic use only. Not intended for commercial use. Any professional use will void the
warranty.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities.
• Electrical devices may cause fire, electrical shocks or other injury to person or property.
• Only a licensed professional is allowed to dismantle or modify the appliance.
Caution!
• Never use the cord of the unit as a carrying strap.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an electrician or similarly qualified person, to
avoid hazard. Do not use the device with a defective power cord, it could cause a short circuit or
become a fire risk
• Do not obstruct the air intakes and exhausts.
• Do not let any liquid enter the unit. Protect the dehumidifier from water drops and spray.
• Do not use bug sprays or other inflammable cleaners on the unit.
• The condensed water is not for drinking either for humans or animals. But the water can be used
for watering flowers and plants.
Positioning:
• Operate this unit on a firm, flat surface to avoid water leak. Ensure that it is kept upright always
(including transport and store).
• Do not allow the appliance to fall over when there is water in the bucket.
• Ensure that there is at least 30 cm between the sides of the appliance and any flammable, heating
materials.
• Keep a minimum distance of 60 cm from wet cells and sinks.
• Do not use the appliance in locations where paint, petrol or other flammable liquids are used or
stored.
• Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight.

Operate:
• Connect the device only to 220-240 V / 50 Hz sockets
• Always unplug the unit from the mains and wait for at least one hour before carrying out any
maintenance, transport or cleaning of the unit.
• Always switch the unit off and pull the plug out of the socket, if you are not using the unit, before
you clean the unit, if a fault occurs and in the event of a storm.
