• Repairs of the flameproof joints may only be made by the manufacturer or on behalf of the
manufacturer and on his own responsibility. Repair in compliance with the values in tables 1
and 2 of IEC 60079-1 is not accepted.
• The external earth connection facility shall be connected reliably.
• Fasteners related with flameproof joints shall have property class at least A2-70.
• The toque for the screws of the terminal box shall be in the range of 22±2kgf.
• When installation, use and maintenance, observe following standards IEC 60079-10,
IEC60079-14, IEC60079-17 and IEC 60079-19.
• The connection to the power source shall be located in a safe area. If the connection has to
be located in Ex-zones, certified connectors or junction box with enough rating shall be used.
